Hidden System & Modern Society Reflection

Hidden System & Modern Society Reflection

A personal reflection on education, work, and global structures

Introduction

This video is very interesting and opened my eyes about the global system in general. It shows that the system is not neutral: it is created by people, and often for their own benefit.

The Main Idea

The main idea is that wealthy and powerful people may have built a system that organizes human life in a specific way: go to school, get a job, work all your life, and then prepare for retirement.

Birth → School → Work → Retirement → Dependence

This path is often described like this: studies until 20–25 years old, then work until 55–65 years old, and finally financial dependence, sometimes on family or children.

A Changing System

Today, this system is no longer fully working. This model is becoming outdated. With fast technological development, many jobs are disappearing and being replaced by machines and automation. Only jobs that cannot easily be replaced by technology or artificial intelligence will remain.

What Can We Do?

  • Study beyond limits: learn many different subjects to gain a wider understanding and adaptability.
  • Build relationships with people who have achieved financial and time freedom.
  • Understand that traditional employment can create economic dependence.
  • Develop personal talents and skills to create independence and value.

Historical Perspective

In the past, humans lived differently without formal jobs like today. They developed their skills in crafts, social life, and intellectual work, while also having time for moral, spiritual, and cultural growth.

With industrialization, factory work changed this system deeply, supported by education and institutions that helped organize modern labor structures.
